Toechon Tomato Festival
Toechon began cultivating tomatoes in the 1970s and is widely known as a major producer of tomatoes. It offers a great one-day picnic course for the metropolitan residents featuring the beautiful sceneries, clear water, and various tastes of Paldang Lake. Other fresh, pollution-free vegetables are also harvested daily and supplied to the metropolitan area.
As a healthy life is a hot trend today, many people are interested in the efficacies of tomatoes and in the festival celebrating them. Toechon tomatoes are cultivated using a pesticide-free and bee pollination method and have a great taste and are good for health, thus gaining popularity among consumers.
